A naturopathic and oriental medical practice in Caro has greatly expanded since it opened in January 2020, which necessitated moving to a larger location.
Dr. Aaron Bardwell, of Cass City, announced the relocation and grand reopening of his clinic the Beyond Health & Wellness Center. The grand opening will be from 2-7 p.m., on Jan. 19, at 1152 East Caro Road (M-81), Caro.
Since opening his business two years ago, the Beyond Health & Wellness Center has grown rapidly adding a chiropractor and oriental medicine practitioner, physician assistant, and massage therapist to the original services of naturopathic medicine, chiropractic and oriental medicine.
“We are now able to truly offer comprehensive collaborative care encompassing both modern/allopathic medicine and alternative medicine at a single location,” said Bardwell.
At the new location, the clinic can offer additional services such as a herbal dispensary where customers can get customized formulas created for their needs. There is also a hydrotherapy, radiant infrared sauna, and Russian steam sauna.
“As part of the expansion, the Beyond Health & Wellness Center will be launching a full supplement store where the public can shop with peace of mind knowing they are getting quality supplements,” Bardwell said.
No appointment is needed to visit the supplement store and the doctors and staff will be available to answer supplement questions for the patrons of the store.
The goal of Bardwell and his staff is to create a “one-stop-shop” that provides a fully collaborative and comprehensive health experience.
It is a place where every patient is known by name and gets the time they require to obtain their health goals at an affordable price.
“At Beyond, we want every patient who wants collaborative care, which means joint care between an allopathic and alternative care practitioner, to be able to have it,” Bardwell explained about the services offered. “This means that if a patient wants both allopathic and alternative medical care, that they would be able to see both doctors and that those doctors would talk about the patients’ case after their visit to create a truly comprehensive and collaborative treatment plan.”

Bardwell graduated cum laude with a doctorate of naturopathic medicine from National University of Health Sciences, and he received doctorate of chiropractic and a master’s of oriental medicine in 2018.
He graduated from Cass City High School in 2009 and completed his undergraduate degree at Northern Michigan University, where he earned a bachelor of science in biology with a physiology emphasis, and he graduated summa cum laude.
